My Joy is to Serve
As a professionally trained generalist, I have served a variety of individuals who need help discovering, transitioning, enriching, and problem solving through life’s challenges. Such challenges may include depression, anxiety, fear, chronic illness, grief, relationships, marriages, parenting, divorce, adultery, and anger. People from all walks of life are able to better understand themselves and their world through understanding and validation.
My life with dyslexia has uniquely prepared me to help those with learning differences break through their challenges and gain confidence and hope. As a Christian, I am thankful for the opportunity to work with those who would desire their faith to be a part of our conversations. It is my joy to spend time with individuals and assist them in discovering the best version of themselves and their world.
Learning disabilities
As an individual with dyslexia, I have a deep respect and understanding for the daily emotional challenges that exist for those with learning disabilities. I am committed to working with children, adolescents, and adults to help them explore, identify, accept, and navigate life.
I find great joy in helping adults and children explore the possibility of a life lived with a learning disability. We will work together to redefine a disability as an ability.
Transitions can be particularly challenging for someone with a special need of any kind. This may be a student moving from middle school to high school, high school to college, or an adult looking to embrace the work force. It is at times of increased anxiety that often lead to feelings of inability. Through counseling, we will work to restore and enhance the sense of self worth and individual strength.
In addition to private counseling, I am prepared to provide students and their families with evaluation and support needed for completion of IEPs and 504 Plans.

Professional Christian Counseling
What is a Professional Christian Counselor?
Our personal beliefs have a tremendous impact on how we think and what we desire from others. A professional counselor is skilled in addressing mental, emotional, and relational concerns of all kinds. As a Christian counselor, I see an opportunity to connect these concerns with the belief system of each client in a meaningful and purposeful way. It is not possible to separate our beliefs from who we are as individuals nor how we experience relationships. I never try to impose my beliefs on another individual and will honor and respect your beliefs if you are of another faith or not a Christian.
Online Counseling
Life is busy. We can’t always take the extra time to come into an office to talk with a therapist. That’s where online therapy works! You can schedule session times with your therapist, counselor without having to leave your home or office space.
Online Therapy gives options for:
- Stay at home parents who cannot afford or find childcare when they need to take care of themselves or their relationship.
- Busy people with lots on their plate.
- Individuals or couples that do not live in the Indianapolis/Bloomington area.
To get started, send me an email or call 317-460-4204.
Abram Sinn uses ZOOM for all online therapy. ZOOM is completely HIPAA compliant so you can get help faster knowing your information is safe and secure. You can download the ZOOM app right onto your phone.
